A walk for a cure. For women who have breast cancer, or their friends, family, and supporters, the Susan G. Komen Foundation organizes 3-Day Walk events around the country each year as a means to raise funds and awareness to someday find a cure.
The first part of a participant’s 3-Day Walk experience begins with this landing page, introducing the would-be walker to the experience and inviting them to learn more, or sign up to participate in a local event.
Each walker needs a guide to the event, and the Walker Handbook serves as that guide. For the first time, the guide was to be produced as an online reading experience, with this being the front cover and the overall e-reading experience.
